According to British media outlet talkSPORT, Nicolas Jackson has emerged as a transfer target for Newcastle United ahead of the summer window.
The report states that last summer, the “Magpies” brought in Nick Woltemade and Vissa as attacking reinforcements following the departure of Alexander Isak. However, manager Eddie Howe has often preferred to use youngster William Osula, leaving both signings with limited starting opportunities.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl recently confirmed in an interview that the club will not activate Nicolas Jackson’s buyout clause.
Adding further context, Luke Edwards of The Telegraph reports that Newcastle are now open to minimizing losses and could consider selling at least one of Woltemade or Vissa in order to balance the books and recover part of their investment.
